Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers comfortable rooms at great value with private bathrooms. While not as cozy as the main hotel, my stay was problem-free. The service was friendly, and the location is excellent for exploring the highlands. The Full Scottish breakfast was delicious, and the dining experience was good, although a bit slow. Overall, a pleasant stay in a beautiful village with easy access to road links.
I had a comfortable stay at the guest house next door to the main hotel in a convenient location. The room was spacious and well-equipped but a bit cold. The village where it's situated is charming with good access to the Cairngorms.
My stay at this hotel was quite pleasant. The room, although facing the road, was clean and spacious with a good ensuite and excellent shower. However, the bathroom being across the corridor was a bit inconvenient. The location was great, right in the heart of the village, making it perfect for exploring the Cairngorms. The dining experience was a highlight, with excellent meals prepared to order. Overall, it was a fine stay with a few minor drawbacks.
I stayed in the guest house next door to the hotel. The rooms were basic but warm and cozy with a nice view, not as comfortable as the main hotel where I've stayed before. The walls were thin as paper, as I had to ask the guy next door to turn down his telly as it sounded like it was in my room. The location was great, handy for walking our dog along the river by the old packhorse bridge in the center of Carrbridge and very reasonably priced. The Full Scottish breakfast was delicious, perfect to set you up for a day on the hills.
